On the hunt for a new venue, UrbanLAN met with Wintec's School of IT to discuss arrangements for using their facilities. Wintec leaped at the opportunity and even offered to sponsor a venue, catering and a prize.
The event was held upstairs in Wintec's IT Network room N3.06 and consisted of 20 attendees.
A breakout room (N3.02) was also introduced where meals were served as well as providing attendees with a place to relax, swap stories and get to know each other.
Network access was provided through a Cisco 2950 10/100 switch.
Continuing UrbanLAN tradition, breaks were enforced throughout the event with games of hacky played during the afternoon and a game of spotlight at night.
